ORDER DIRECTING NOTICE

On February 20, 2013, the Staff of the Missouri Public Service Commission filed a motion requesting Navigator Telecommunications, LLC (“Navigator”) certificate of service authority and accompanying tariff to provide basic local exchange telecommunications services in the State of Missouri be cancelled.  The Commission granted Navigator a certificate of service authority to provide basic local exchange telecommunication service in portions of the State of Missouri served by Southwestern Bell Telephone Company in File Number TA-98-383.   In File Number TA-2000-243, the Commission granted Navigator a certificate of service authority to provide basic local exchange telecommunication service throughout all exchanges served by Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, GTE Midwest Incorporated, and Sprint/United Telephone Company.

The Commission need not hold a hearing, if, after proper notice and opportunity to intervene, no party requests such a hearing.[1]  Therefore, if no request for a hearing or objection to Staff’s motion is received, the Commission may cancel the certificate based on Staff’s motion.

          The Commission finds that proper persons shall be allowed 10 days from the issuance of this order to file a motion for hearing.

THE COMMISSION ORDERS THAT:

          1.       Any party wishing to file an objection or request a hearing shall do so by filing a pleading no later than March 4, 2013, with:

          2.       This order shall become effective upon issuance.
