On January 29, 2013, the Commission
received the applications with tariff sheets. On February 13, 2013, the
Commission’s staff (“Staff”) filed its recommendation favoring approval of the
applications and recommending that the tariff sheets take effect by operation
of law or be approved. Because no party disputes the application, no law requires a
hearing before granting the applications and approving the
tariff sheets, so the Commission convened no hearing and bases its findings on
the verified filings.[1]
Therefore, the Commission will grant the applications, recognize the name changes, and approve the tariffs.
