In the Matter of Staff’s Motion to Extend Time for )
Union Electric Company d/b/a Ameren Missouri ) File No. EO-2013-0375
To File a Combined Tariff Rate Schedule )
ORDER EXTENDING DATE TO FILE COMBINED TARIFF SCHEDULE
Issue Date: January 30, 2013 Effective Date: January 30, 2013
On January 29, 2013, the Commission’s Staff filed a motion asking the Commission to extend the date by which Union Electric Company d/b/a Ameren Missouri is to file a combined electric rate schedule pursuant to a stipulation and agreement approved as part of the company’s recent rate case, ER-2012-0166. That stipulation and agreement requires Ameren Missouri to file a new electric rate schedule that combines its two tariff schedules into one by January 31. Staff asks the Commission to delay the filing of that combined tariff schedule because Staff believes the press of other business will not allow it time to review that tariff in the 30 days before it would go into effect by operation of law. Staff asks that Ameren Missouri instead be ordered to file that combined tariff schedule on June 1, to be effective on July 1.
Staff’s motion indicates it has consulted Ameren Missouri and represents that the company does not object to its request for more time. No other party has responded to Staff’s motion.
The Commission finds Staff’s motion to be reasonable and will extend the tariff filing date as Staff requests.
THE COMMISSION ORDERS THAT:
1. Staff’s Motion to Extend Date by which Ameren Missouri is Required to File a New Electric Rate Schedule Combining its Two Tariff Schedules into One Tariff Schedule is granted.
2. Union Electric Company d/b/a Ameren Missouri shall file a new electric rate schedule that combines its two tariff schedules as one tariff schedule by June 1, 2013.
3. This order shall become effective upon issuance.
4. This file shall be closed on January 31, 2013.
