ORDER DIRECTING STAFF TO FILE RECOMMENDATION AND ESTABLISHING TIME TO FILE MOTION TO SUSPEND TARIFF

Issue Date: December 31, 2012 Effective Date: December 31, 2012

On December 28, 2012, Summit Natural Gas of Missouri, Inc., submitted a proposed tariff, accompanied by an application for waiver. The tariff would implement promotional rebates for customers who install energy efficient appliances. The waiver request asks the Commission to waive certain Commission rules that would prevent Summit from offering the proposed rebates. The tariff carries a January 29, 2013 effective date, so the Commission will have to consider the request for waiver before that date.

THE COMMISSION ORDERS THAT:

1. Staff shall file a recommendation regarding Summit Natural Gas of Missouri, Inc.’s proposed tariff and application for waiver no later than January 18, 2013.

2. Any other party wishing to file a recommendation regarding Summit Natural Gas of Missouri, Inc.’s proposed tariff and application for waiver, or who wants to file a motion to suspend the proposed tariff, shall do so no later than January 18, 2013.

3. This order shall become effective upon issuance.
