A true-up hearing concerning Union Electric Company d/b/a Ameren Missouriís general rate increase case is currently set to begin at 8:30 a.m. on October 25, 2012.† In his true-up direct testimony filed on October 18, Ameren Missouriís witness, Gary Weiss, indicated Ameren Missouri did not anticipate a need to hold the true-up hearing.† Similarly, on October 18, the Commissionís Staff filed a pleading indicating its belief that no true-up hearing is required.† However, on October 18, Public Counsel filed the true-up direct testimony of Ted Robertson on the issue of rate case expense.† On October 22, Ameren Missouri responded on that issue with the rebuttal testimony of Gary Weiss.†
With adverse testimony having been filed, it is no longer clear whether any party wants to proceed with a true-up hearing.† Therefore, the Commission will establish a deadline for any interested party to request a hearing.† If no party requests a hearing by the deadline, the Commission will issue an order to cancel the true-up hearing.
THE COMMISSION ORDERS THAT:
1.†††††† Any party wishing to proceed with the true-up hearing on October 25, 2012, shall file a pleading making that request no later than 1:00 p.m. on October 24, 2012.
††††††††† 2.†††††† This order shall become effective immediately upon issuance.
