REGARDING COMPLAINT
Issue Date: January 17, 2013
On January 7, 2013, Nixon and Company, Inc., filed this complaint against AT&T.
The complaint is signed by T. Mark Nixon. Mr. Nixon does not list a Missouri Bar membership number nor is there a T. Mark Nixon listed in the Missouri Bar membership directory. The Commission therefore presumes that Mr. Nixon is not an attorney
With regard to non-attorneys, Commission rule 4 CSR 240-2-040 (5) states:
A natural person may represent himself or herself. Such practice is strictly limited to the appearance of a natural person on his or her behalf and shall not be made for any other person or entity.
Because Nixon and Company, Inc. is the complainant and is a corporation, Mr. Nixon may not represent the corporation. An attorney must represent the corporation. If complainant wishes to proceed with this complaint before the Commission, it must engage an attorney for representation. This case will remain open for 90 days to allow time for an attorney to enter an appearance on behalf of the company.
