On January 3, 2013, the Commission denied Missouri-American Water Company’s petition asking the Commission to promulgate a new rule to implement an environmental cost adjustment mechanism for water utilities.  Although the Commission denied the petition, it established a new working case - WW-2013-0347 – through which Staff is to draft such a rule with input from stakeholders.

Although the process of drafting a rule will continue in WW-2013-0347, no further action is necessary in this file and it shall be closed.
